Personal:

• Was born in Lancaster PA.
• Has three older sisters and two older brothers.
• Has lived in Raleigh since he was two, now lives in Holly Springs.
• Enjoys sports: football, volleyball, tennis, mountain biking and SCUBA diving.
• Is happily married to Michele and has a wonderful 15 year-old step daughter Dennae.
• Has a siamese cat, Muffin, and a yellow labrador retreiver, Mandy.

Education:

• Attended Carroll Jr. High and Sanderson High School.
• Graduated from East Carolina University with a BS in Industrial Technology Education.

Experience:

• Taught at Daniels Middle School for 13 years, where he taught Photography, Mechanical Drawing, Woodworking and Exploring Technology.
• Started teaching at Southeast Raleigh High School when it opened in 1997, has taught:  Principles of Technology, Drafting I, Architectural Draftin II and III, Engineering Drafting II and III, and Scientific Visualization
• Currently Teaches:  Introduction to Engineering Design (PLTW), Principles of Engineering (PLTW), Engineering Drafting II, and Scientific & Technical Visualization.
• Serves as Department Chair for the Career and Technical Education Dept. (CTE)
• Serves as the lead teacher for the Engineering CFLC.
• Received National Board Certification - Dec. 2006
